What does your baby have in his/her crib? - shrek baby doll
How can he or she will know that they are awake?
My son is 10 and has two Shrek Baby Dolls, and glass for me to know that he is not awake (with toys)

She has her cell phone, a blanket, blankets, pillows with information from birth, and some stuffed animals. She still sleeps in his crib Tho.

One night I was awakened by her crying baby, but his mother slept. I approached to see if the baby is crying because two huge teddy bear fell on his face and swung around the poor guy, trying to breathe!
Since I never put the toys / teddy bears in the bed my baby. Each in its own right.
